“We are pleased to be undertaking Aston University’s staff survey for the second time running. Since the last survey was conducted in 2015, Aston University has appointed a new Vice Chancellor who is keen to understand where the organisation is at and we look forward to assisting the university in highlighting particular strengths and any areas for improvement.”

BMG Research was re-commissioned in November 2016 to manage Aston University’s staff survey, having previously managed the survey in 2014/15. The objective of the survey is to elicit the views of employees on what is important to their working life at Aston University and how effectively they are supported in their work. A key aspect of the results will be to track progress since the last survey and inform the ongoing development of the university.

The survey will be delivered predominantly online with a link sent directly to staff’s work email account, however, a paper version of the questionnaire will be offered for those that require it. The questionnaire will be made available in January 2017 to all staff that have been employed at the organisation for at least six months (approximately 1,500).
