GoWell is a research and learning programme, investigating the impacts of investment in housing and neighbourhood regeneration in Glasgow on the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.
BMG Research have been involved in the project since 2007, initially completing 6,000 face-to-face household interviews with residents living in 12 predetermined locations across Glasgow. This was then followed by cross sectional tracking surveys in 2009 and 2012 and 2015. The final wave in 2015 required 4,000 interviews.
With our long involvement in this project, we were delighted to see the latest publications this week from the Gowell team, including a report on changes in health related indictors in housing renewal areas and an annual progress report on the project.
