BMG Research is currently undertaking its third annual survey on behalf of Public Health England exploring parental attitudes to childhood immunisation.

The results will build on previous tracking surveys completed over a 20 year period, and explore parents’ experience of the service offered, trust in healthcare providers and how these relate to their acceptance of the programme, decision-making about vaccination and beliefs about risk of vaccination versus risk of disease.

The survey is conducted face to face with 2,000 parents across England; 1,000 with parents of children aged 0-2 and 1,000 with parents of children aged 3-4. The surveys are delivered using computer-assisted (CAPI) interviewing.
