As speculation mounts over a possible cabinet reshuffle in the coming months, an exclusive BMG poll conducted on the behalf of the Independent has revealed that close to half of the public want to see a change in personnel in Theresa May’s top team.

The poll of a representative sample of 1,506 GB adults asked respondents: “Do you think Theresa May should reshuffle her cabinet?” 45% said that the Prime Minister should make changes, with just 18% saying that ministers should stay in place, whilst 37% were unsure.

Interestingly, those that support a cabinet reshuffle include 49% of Conservative voters, with less than a third of those that would vote Tory if an election was tomorrow (30%) saying there should be no changes to Theresa May’s Ministerial team.
