Computer Aided Personal Interviews (CAPI) and Self-Evaluation Interviews (CASI) offer many advantages over traditional paper interview methods.
Answers to questions are collated and stored electronically at the point of interview, so more secure and real time data is available throughout the fieldwork window. We have made substantial investments in our own CAPI equipped national fieldforce, with a team of more than 200 interviewers working across the UK.
Personal, diverse and experienced
Our fieldforce is drawn from all ethnic and social backgrounds and many interviewers have community language skills, including Asian and Eastern European languages. For example, our interviewers are trained and experienced in researching hard to help, hard to reach and vulnerable members of our communities, with research amongst young people, the elderly and migrant communities being among our specialisms.
