We are the leading market research agency in the field of business, enterprise and innovation in the UK.
Much of our work in business support and enterprise is for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Between 2012 and 2017 we have been commissioned by them or their agencies to undertake over 60 separate studies in the fields of business support, business finance, business growth, regulation and enterprise. These include the 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Small Business Surveys, the last three of which are longitudinal studies starting with a sample size of 15,500 interviews with SMEs.
We have also been involved in evaluations of many of the Government’s principal business support and funding schemes, including Start-up Loans, Smart, Catapults, ERDF funding, the Agri-tech strategy, GrowthAccelerator, the Enterprise Finance Guarantee, Enterprise Capital Funds, the Capital for Enterprise Fund, Regional Growth Fund, Enterprise Management Incentives and the Tools for Business section on .GOV.UK.
We regularly conduct a number of local business surveys, such as those for Cumbria, Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield, Southend, Luton, Leeds, Westminster, Greater Manchester, Bedford, Buckinghamshire and East Sussex councils.
