As employers see the values and goals of their workforce change; with greater expectations of the workplace and a more transient outlook, keeping hold of the best talent is an increasing challenge. An engaging workplace, with strongly embedded values and a clear identity and purpose are key to retaining the best people.

Our survey of 1,000 employees across the UK found that more than a quarter (28%) disagree their employer does a good job of retaining its most talented people. This increases to 37% of public sector employees, 37% aged 25-34 and 47% of health professionals.
