Planning for the future with BMG

Planning for the future with BMG

A West Midlands district authority has commissioned BMG Research to undertake a resident consultation regarding the scale and character of local development over the next 15 years.

Since the change of national government in 2010, local councils have more responsibility in deciding the amount of development that takes place in their local area. As a result, 700 randomly selected residents are now being asked to comment via a 20 minute, face to face survey on what issues should be prioritised and what levels of housing and economic development will support these priorities. The consultation results will be used to assess whether the Council's Local Plan is in line with resident expectations.
