3 staff from BMG successfully climbed 4 mountains in Scotland earlier in November raising funds for our corporate charity - St Basils. Commentating Simon Maydew Board Director said "BMG are actively engaged with communities, residents and social landlords across the UK and this walk is a fantastic way to support one our local organisations who provide such valuable services to young people and communities across the sub region. Further activities are planned for 2010 including a 7 peak challenge around Ben Lawers, 3 peaks challenge and the 28 mile St Basils walk" |

Steve Rainbow from St Basils said "BMG have been supporters of St Basils, the Midland based Youth Homeless charity, for many years. They contribute regularly with such fundraising events as ‘dress down days’, always have teams represented at the Annual St Basils Walk and are past participants in the Big SleepOut. But in addition to this certain members of the BMG crew have started to do specific challenges, such as walking around the Isle of Man, attempting the legendary UK 3 Peaks challenge and most recently the Scottish Peaks challenge which saw then climb to the top of Stob Binnein in appalling weather conditions (see photo) and still do it with a smile on their face. Not only that they actually held a raffle at the top of the highest peak. Crazy! Yes, but absolutely appreciated by every single young homeless person who benefits from the money they give to St Basil to help prevent youth homelessness. Please keep up the crazy fundraising and thank you BMG for your continued support"
