Young Peoples’ perceptions of the provision of confidential sexual health advice and services in Kent.

Young Peoples’ perceptions of the provision of confidential sexual health advice and services in Kent.

In 2010, BMG was commissioned by Kent Teenage Pregnancy Executive Board, which has multi agency representation and is hosted by Kent County Council (KCC), to undertake a survey of young people in the county. The aim of this research was to ascertain young people’s perceptions of sexual health provision, and identify whether they know how and where to access help, support and advice on sexual health.

Research was conducted using self-completion questionnaires, which were distributed by representatives from Connexions Kent, Sexual Health Outreach East and West Kent, Youth Services and Young Parent Services across 12 districts of Kent.
