BMG Research has just completed a large survey with businesses across Cheshire. The work is on behalf of three Councils; Warrington Borough Council, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Cheshire East Council. 1525 telephone interviews were completed among private sector businesses across the three Council areas in February and March 2011

The survey is intended to identify the challenges, needs and opportunities facing businesses in Cheshire and Warrington, so that the Councils and their partners can effectively target public sector investment, support private sector investment and deliver services that address businesses’ needs and support their long term growth. The results will inform the development of LEAs and the policies and strategies of the authorities and other local partners over the next five years or more.
