BMG has been successful in its bid to undertake the evaluation of Phase 3 of the Women and Work Sector Pathway’s Initiative (WWSPI), on behalf of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES).

BMG research has just completed a 2-year study evaluating five community-based healthy eating pilots located across Kent. 

Wolverhampton and Walsall Childcare Sufficiency AssessmentWolverhampton and Walsall Childcare Sufficiency Assessment 
BMG is delighted to have been commissioned to support Wolverhampton and Walsall Council’s in completing their Childcare Sufficiency Assessments for 2010/11. The Childcare Act 2006 requires local authorities to undertake a childcare sufficiency assessment every three years to ensure that there is sufficient childcare provision for the needs of working parents in their area with children up to the age of 14 (or 17 for disabled children). 

Childcare in the Royal Borough of Windsor and MaidenheadChildcare in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead 
BMG Research will be surveying 500 households across all 23 wards in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead from early July 2010. BMG will carry out face to face interviews with families in the Borough who have at least one child living in the household aged 0-14 years, including 15 to 17 years if the child has a disability or special need.

n behalf of Westminster City Council, BMG Research is currently interviewing 500 families across Westminster about childcare usage, needs and views.

Bolton based Regenda Housing Group has commissioned BMG Research to undertake separate STATUS surveys amongst its General Needs, Sheltered and Supported tenants. Each client group will be sent a tailored questionnaire.

On behalf of Birmingham City Council's Children's Services Directorate BMG Research is currently undertaking a survey of 500 randomly selected households across Birmingham who have children aged 0-6 years.

Kent County Council has commissioned BMG to conduct exploratory research around grandparents who provide some form of kinship care for their grandchildren whose parents are substance misusers

BMG has recently been awarded a contract from the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) to conduct research among Welsh schools and parents of school age children to explore school uniform policy and practice across Wales.
