The latest BMG/Independent voting intention poll, for May 2018, finds the Conservatives and Labour neck and neck on 39%. The poll, conducted on behalf of the Independent between 1st and 4th May, sees Labour recover one point whilst the Conservatives record no change on 39%.

The Liberal Democrats see a one-point drop to 10% whereas UKIP record a one-point recovery to 4%.

Readers should note that all changes are well within the margin of error.
